Jack Brighton is a police (officer/official), who patrols our community every night. (One day/Some day) on his duty, he came across a girl who lived in the house on the (opposite/contrary/contradictory) side of the police station. The girl gave him a note in a hurry and then just ran off. Jack was so worried because he thought that the girl did so to seek his help in some way. Jack (opened/unfolded) the note with apprehension. (Opposite/Contrary/Contradictory) to what he had in his mind, it turned out be a thank-you-note. The girl just wanted to express her gratitude for Jack made the community a lot safer. Jack was happy that his efforts made a difference.
